To edit an existing trigger, navigate to the Triggers list, and click on the trigger you would like to modify.
You can modify most of the values that were applied when the trigger was created:
Trigger Name
You will want to use a name that describes the trigger. For example, you could include the program name and condition details. E.g. Merchandising Audit Score <50%.
Event Type
The event type on a trigger cannot be edited - You must create a new trigger.
Description
Add a brief description about the trigger.
Product
Select the product under which the trigger will get enabled.
Conditions
Conditions that were added to the trigger can be modified or deleted/replaced, or additional conditions can be added.
The conditions for a trigger that are available include:
- Question Response
- Question Score
- Section Score
- Program
- Record Score
- Critical Fail
- Outcome
- Contact List
- Contact Language
- Custom Field Value
- Hierarchy Node - for FileShare events only
- File Name - for FileShare events only
- & many more
Action
Actions that was set on the trigger can modified, or deleted and then replaced with a different action.
The actions for a trigger that are available include:
- Email - Sends an email.
- Webhook - Sends JSON encoded data via Webhook.
- Case - Creates a case.
- SMS - Sends a text message.
- Record Email - Sends an email and has the option to include a PDF copy of the record.
- Scheduled Record Email - Sends a record email on a specified day and time.
- Check Summary Email - Sends an email with non compliant items to specified user(s) whose hierarchy permissions include the location/node to the record is associated with.
- Checklist - launches a checklist to a specified location based on conditions
- Slack Notification - Sends a notification and a link via Slack.
- SFTP - Sends JSON encoded data to a hosted FTP server.
- Dropbox - Sends data to an Integrated Dropbox account.
- Box - SendS data to an Integrated Box account.
- Google Drive - Sends data to an Integrated Google Drive account.
- Amazon S3 - Sends data to an Amazon S3 bucket.
Enabled/Disabled
The trigger can be enabled or disabled by toggling the Enabled/Disabled button.
- Click on Save to apply your updates.
