When you want to send email notifications to users when a check, survey, or mystery shop has been completed or updated, among other options, triggers allow you to notify users by email based on the conditions you configure. This allows any platform user to receive the results of the visit as soon as the visit has been submitted to IntouchIntelligence.
To create a new trigger, navigate to the Triggers list, and click on the '+ Create' button at the top of the listing.
Creating a Trigger
- Enter the Trigger Name - you will want to use a name that describes the trigger. For example, you could include the program name and condition details. E.g. Merchandising Audit Score <50%.
- Add a Description - add a brief description about the trigger.
- Select the Products that will serve as data sources for the trigger.
- Select the Event Type for the trigger; you can choose from:
- Record Created - A new record is submitted to IntouchIntelligence
- Record Updated - An existing record has been updated in IntouchIntelligence
- Record Deleted - An existing record has been removed from IntouchIntelligence
- FileShare Created - A file has been added to the FileShare section
- FileShare Updated - A file has been updated or replaced on the FileShare section
- Case Created - A new case has been created in IntouchIntelligence
- Case Updated - An exisiting case has been updated in IntouchIntelligenceexisting
- Case Deleted - An existing case has been removed from IntouchIntelligence

Click on Create to set up the conditions and actions for your trigger.
Conditions can be set using one or more of the following criteria:
- Question Response
- Question Score
- Section Score
- Product
- Program
- Record Score
- Critical Fail
- Outcome
- Contact List
- Contact Language
- Custom Field Value
- Hierarchy Node - for FileShare events only
- File Name - for FileShare events only
- & more
And available actions are:
- Email - Sends an email to any users or groups specified
- Webhook - Sends JSON encoded data via Webhook.
- Case - Creates a case.
- SMS - Sends a text message.
- Record Email - Sends an email to any users or groups specified who ALSO have visibility to the location the record is associated with and has the option to include a PDF copy of the record.
- Scheduled Record Email - Sends an email to any users or groups specified who ALSO have visibility to the location the record is associated with and has the option to include a PDF copy of the record on a specified day and time.
- Check Summary Email - Sends an email with non-compliant items to specified user(s) and whose hierarchy permissions include the location/node to the record is associated with.
- Checklist - launches a checklist to a specified location based on conditions
- Slack Notification - Sends a notification and a link via Slack.
- SFTP - Sends JSON encoded data to a hosted FTP server.
- Dropbox - Sends data to an Integrated Dropbox account.
- Box - SendS data to an Integrated Box account.
- Google Drive - Sends data to an Integrated Google Drive account.
- Amazon S3 - Sends data to an Amazon S3 bucket.
When the specific event occurs and the condition is met, then the action is initiated.
