The default filter for each view will include a document date filter of past 30 days. When applicable, filters that are set on one page will carry over when you navigate to other pages/reports.
Date Filters:
| Note: All timestamps within the Intouch platform are stored in UTC. When viewing data in Intelligence, timestamps are represented in the time zone that has been applied in your user settings. Custom records lists may have a fixed time-zone applied that IS NOT your user setting or may be configured to be shown in the location’s timezone. |
There are several date fields available depending on your data set. These include:
- Document Date (Records ONLY)
- Created Date (Records, Cases, Followups)
- Date Received (Records ONLY)
- Submitted Date (Records ONLY)
- Start Date (Records ONLY)
- Finish Date (Records ONLY)
For further details about each date option, please refer to Intouch Data Definitions.

Adding Additional Date Filters:
Should you wish to apply a 2nd date filter, it is important to understand that:
1) The Document Date filter will always be applied, and that
2) The results returned when multiple filters are applied are only those where ALL filter conditions are met.
For example, if I have configured my survey results such that the Document Date is driven by a date selected by the respondent, I may also want to apply a 'Date Received' filter to view my most recent results. In this case, it is important that your Document Date filter range is large.
Consider a record submitted today by a survey respondent who said they visited the store 60 days ago, thus setting the document date to today minus 60 days.
- Case 1: A document date filter of past 30 and a date received filter of today.
- In this instance the record would NOT be returned with the results as the date of document is not within the past 30 days.
- Case 2: A document date filter of past 90 and a date received filter of today.
- In this instance the record would be returned with the results as the date of document is within the past 90 days.
To add an additional date filter (or any additional Filter):
1) Access the global filters menu (
).
2) Search for and select the additional Date Filter option and apply the appropriate setting.
