After you create a new chart and select your product, you will enter the Chart Builder. This is where you define exactly what information your chart will display.
Path A: For Display Text, Images, NPS, and Record Lists
These chart types are specialized. Instead of building from raw data points, you simply select your content:
Select Your Content: In the Content tab, upload your image, type your text, or select the specific NPS question or Record List you want to display.
Update Settings: Head to the Settings tab to handle sizing and titles.
Save: Click Save to add it to your dashboard.

Path B: For All Other Data-Driven Charts
For most charts (Bar, Line, Pie, etc.), you are building a visualization from your data using the Data & Metrics tab.
1. Define Your Metric
Metrics are the quantitative (numeric) values you want to measure. Look for the [1] icon in the left menu.
Find & Add: Search for and click the metric you wish to chart.
-
Refine & Format: Once added, you can customize the metric:
Summarize: Use the dropdown to set the calculation to Average, Min, Max, or Sum.
Rename: Click the label text to type a custom name.
Color: Click the filled box to change the metric's color.
Format: Click the triple-dot menu to set decimal places or add a percentage, currency, etc.

|
Record Weighted Score Percentage |
This is a recalculated score used when different parts of a form are "worth" more than others. Instead of every question having equal value, the system calculates the score based on the weight of the category. For Shop/Audit, it calculates each Section % independently, multiplies it by the section's weight, and totals them (e.g., Cleanliness is 60%, Service is 40%). For Surveys, it calculates the score based on Tags (e.g., Wait Time is weighted more heavily than Atmosphere). Math: (Section 1% × Weight) + (Section 2% × Weight) / 100. Select this when you want to report on the overall score when specific categories in your form carry a heavier weight than others. |
|
Section Score Percentage |
The percentage score achieved within one specific section of the form. Select this when you want to view the 0-100% grade for one specific section of your form. |

|
Section Weighted Score Percentage |

The total number of followup action items associated with the data. Select this when you want to report on the volume of required follow-ups triggered by your checks or audits. |
2. Assign a Data Point
Data Points are the qualitative categories used to "slice" your metrics. This determines what appears on your chart's axes or legends.
Implementation Tip: You can use the search bar to help locate the item.
Selection & Drill-Downs: Click a Data Point from the menu. Depending on the item selected (like "Hierarchy" or "Question Responses"), you may be prompted with a drill-down menu to make specific selections. In these cases, you can select multiple options, though you may need to proceed through the menu several times to capture everything you need.
Customization: * Rename: Click the Data Point Label text to update the name (e.g., change "Hierarchy" to the location name).
Change Color: Click the Left Color Box next to the label to change the color for that specific data segment.
The "One Type" Rule: You can select multiple items within a single category, but you can only select one type of data point per chart (e.g., you cannot mix "Hierarchy" and "Questions" on the same axis).
