The feature of "Custom Reporting Periods" allows users to align reporting within the Intouch platform with their business cycles and needs, granting them greater control and flexibility.
To access Custom Reporting Periods, navigate to the black banner on the left-hand side of the IQ page and click on the Settings icon, then select Custom Reporting Periods.
From here, you will have the ability to create a new Custom Reporting Group. This can be done by selecting the blue button. You will then be prompted to select a Group Name. Type your Group Name and then select Create on the bottom right of the box to finish the Group title. It is important to note that all Custom Reporting Periods must be created within a Group.
Once you have created your Group, you can then create your custom periods. This can be done by selecting the "Create custom period" highlighted in blue within your Group.
When creating your Custom Period, you must provide a Period name, a start date, and an end date. Once you've created your Custom Periods, you can see the columns of the designated start and end dates within your Group. To add more Periods, select the +Add period button below your most recent period.
If there is ever a need to edit Group Titles, Period Titles, or start and end dates - please select the triple dot icon and select the pencil to edit.
If there is ever a need to delete these features, select the triple dot icon and select delete. Note that deleting the Group will delete all Periods, whereas deleting an individual Period only deletes that specific start and end date.
