About PDF Settings:
Our PDF settings allow admin users to configure the default settings for your organization. You may optionally 'Lock' PDF settings, which prevents other users from downloading PDFs with different settings applied, or you can allow users to customize each of the PDF settings when they download a result from IntouchIntelligence.
When sending PDFs via email triggers, you can customize the PDF settings per trigger as well.
Default PDF Settings:
You can access the default PDF options for your organization within IntouchIntelligence by navigating to settings () from the left-hand menu, then selecting PDF options.
Our PDF settings help you optimize downloads for different uses.
- General Settings that control the behaviour of the PDF
- Fixed Content will be included regardless of settings
- Optional Content that can be included to provide additional details
These options may vary by product. Certain PDF options will be selected by default, but can be deselected if desired.
General Settings | |
Lock PDF |
When the 'Lock PDF Settings' toggle is enabled, the default settings will always apply when a user downloads a record PDF. The user will not be presented with the option to modify the PDF settings at the time of download. |
Questions Included |
You can select whether you would like to include all program questions in the PDF or whether you would only like to include questions that are: |
Score Display Type |
You can select how you want to display any scores included (questions, sections, tags) |
Fixed Content | |
Location Information |
Location Information provides the Hierarchy (or location) name, the address, and any tags associated with the location. |

PDF View: | |
Section Dividers |
For each Section of your record, you will see the section name. However, the score is only presented if the Section Scores setting is enabled. |
Questions |
For each question included, you will see the question with the selected response. Note: Questions included is covered in general settings and additional question configurations are covered in Optional Content |

Colors (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will: - Display the record outcome (cover page, overview element) in the appropriate color based on the configuration in Check. - Display question outcomes (OK and Not-OK) in green and red, respectively. - Display question scores in green and red, depending on the question outcome. Note: The default settings will have Colors enabled. |

Compliance Summary (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will include a 'Non-Compliant Items' element on your report following the 'Score Breakdown element'. This element will list all questions where the outcome was 'Not-OK' Note: The default settings will have 'Non-Compliant Item' enabled. |

Contact Details (IntouchSurvey Only) |
Selecting this option will include the contact details for the contact center contact who submitted the survey when the survey is distributed via the contact center. |
| Cover Page |
Selecting this option will include a cover page for your report. Depending on the product, different information is shown: - Shop/Audit/Survey/External Data: Logo (if enabled), Program Name, Location Name, Date (if enabled), Record Score (if applicable) - Check: Logo (if enabled), Program Name, Location Name, Date (if enabled), Outcome, Key Metrics, and Record Score (if applicable) Note: The default settings will have Cover Page disabled |

Critical Issues (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will include the indicator for question flagged as a critial issue when 'Not-Ok' Note: The default settings will have Question Score enabled. |
| Document Date |
Selecting this option will include the date of the document on the cover page (if enabled), the footer (if enabled), and the Score Breakdown element (if enabled). Note: The default settings will have Document Date enabled. |

Followups (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will include any question tags associated with the question, for all questions on your report. Note: The default settings will have Question Score enabled. |
| Footer |
Selecting this option will include a header at the top of each page that includes the name of the location, as well as the document date (when enabled) for the record and page number. Note: The default settings will have Footer enabled. |
| Header |
Selecting this option will include a header at the top of each page that includes the name of the program, as well as the Overall Score (Shop/Audit/Survey) or Outcome (Check) for the record. Note: The default settings will have Header enabled. |
| Hide Question Response Icons |
Selecting this option will remove the question type icon from each question Note: The default settings will have Hide Question Response Icons disabled. |

Key Metrics (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option includes the Key Metrics scores on the Cover page (if enabled) as well as the Key Metrics section between 'Overview' and 'Score Breakdown' Note: The default settings will have Key Metrics disabled. |
| Logo |
Selecting this option will include the logo you have uploaded for your organization to be displayed on the PDF'd report. - If you have included a cover page the logo will appear on the cover page - If you have enabled header, your logo will appear within the header Note: The default settings will have Logo enabled. |
| Media Gallery |
Selecting this option will include the Media Gallery element as the final element in the report which includes all images associated with the record. Note: The default settings will have Media Gallery disabled. |
| Overall Company Average YTD |
Selecting this option will include the Overall company average in the Score Breakdown (if enabled) Note: The default settings will have Overall Company Average YTD enabled. |
| Overview |
Selecting this option will include an 'Overview' element on your report following the 'Location Information' element. Depending on the product, different 'Overview' information is shown: - Shop/Audit: Program Name, Submitted at (Date - if enabled), Cycle, and Group - Check: Program Name, Submitted at (Date - if enabled), Submitted by (user), Duration, and Outcome - Survey: Program Name, Submitted at (Date - if enabled) and Duration - External Data: Program Name and Submitted at (Date - if enabled) Note: The default settings will have Overview enabled. |
| Page Breaks |
Selecting this option will include page breaks between each section of your report for easier distribution across various teams. Note: The default settings will have Page Breaks disabled. |
| Question Images |
Selecting this option will include any images associated with the question for all questions in your report. Note: The default settings will have Question images enabled. |

Question Response Metadata (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will include response metadata in the pdf: Note: The default settings will have Question Response Metadata disabled. |

Question Responses (show unselected) (IntouchCheck & IntouchSurvey Only) |
Selecting this option will include response options that were not selected. Note: The default settings will have Show Unselected Question Responses disabled. |
| Question Scores |
Selecting this option will include the question score for all questions on your report. Note: The default settings will have Question Scores enabled. |
| Question Tags |
Selecting this option will include any question tags associated with the question, for all questions on your report. Note: The default settings will have Question Tags enabled. |
| Record Images |
Selecting this option will include images that are not associated with questions Note: The default settings will have Record Images disabled. |
| Score Breakdown |
Score Breakdown provides the overall score for the record, the previous score for the same program at the same location, the overall company score YTD (if enabled), as well as a section breakdown that includes the name of each section, the previous section score for the same program at the same location, the current section score for each section and the percentage change between the previous and current record. Note: The default settings will have Score Breakdown enabled. |
| Score per Tag |
Score per Tag allows you to include a table displaying the tag scores, the name of each tag (can select specific tags), the previous tag score for the same program at the same location, the current tag score for each tag and the tag score percentage change between the previous and current record. Note: The default settings will have Score per Tag disabled. |
| Section Scores |
For each Section Divider in your PDF, you will see the section name and section score included. Note: The default settings will have Section Scores enabled. |

Signatures (IntouchCheck Only) |
Selecting this option will include the Signatures element, following the last section of the record, with the appropriate enabled/completed signatures from the audit record. Note: The default settings will have Signatures enabled. |
| Signoff Field (at end) |
Selecting this option will include a space for signoff (offline) at the end of the PDF. Note: The default settings will have Signoff Field (at end) disabled. |
| Signoff Field (per section) |
Selecting this option will include a space for signoff (offline) after each section on the PDF. Note: The default settings will have Signoff Field (per section) disabled. |
