By default, the Overview Dashboard is the very first page you and your users see the moment you log into the platform. If you have Admin-level permissions, you can customize this experience by selecting a specific dashboard to serve as the universal landing page for your entire organization.
Why customize your landing page?
First impressions are key to how your team uses the platform. While the Overview Dashboard is the standard entry point, you might want your team to be greeted by a custom KPI scorecard, a specific product dashboard, or a high-level executive summary tailored to your business goals. By updating this setting, you ensure that the most critical data is the first thing your team sees the second they log in.
Before You Begin
Make it Public: The dashboard you want to use must be set to Public. If a dashboard is set to private or is still in draft mode, it won't appear in your selection menu.
Global Impact: Keep in mind that changing this setting updates the initial login destination for everyone in your organization.
How to Change Your Default Landing Page
Navigate to Intelligence (IQ).
On the black sidebar menu on the left, click the Settings icon (the gear wheel at the bottom).
Locate and select Reporting Default Options.
Under Set the Organizational Default Dashboard, use the dropdown menu to select the dashboard you would like your team to see first.
Click Save.
What to Expect
The next time anyone in your organization logs into the platform, they will be directed straight to your chosen dashboard instead of the standard Overview. This change takes effect immediately for all subsequent logins across your organization.
