To assign a case, navigate to the list, then click on the case you would like to update.
To assign the case:
- In the left-hand frame, click on the '+ Add' button in the Assignee field;
- A list of all your users will appear. Begin typing the name of the user you are looking for to quickly find them in the list. You can also switch between 'All' users, 'Location Users', which are users directly associated with the location the case is linked to as the source of the user lists.
- You can also set a Due Date, assign a Priority (low, medium, high), or add a Tag for the case.
The priority on a case will be shown in the notification that is sent to the assignee.
Tags must be added to the system before they will appear in the Tag list on a case. In future, users will be able to filter cases by tag, to view only those with a specific tag.
- Click on Save when you have assigned the case.
When a case is assigned, a notification is sent to the assignee.
